Talking Radio is a dynamic and ambitious business with over 30 years of experience in two-way Radio Telephony communications training within the Aviation, Marine and Operational Industries. Our focus is on ensuring a professional radio standard is maintained for all those Operators who use mobile, or fixed two-way radios as part of their communication business model.

Partnerships and Affiliations

We are proud of our partnership with Stenden South Africa in hosting Two-Way Radio Telephony Training in Disaster Management. This course is part of the requirement towards obtaining a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Disaster Relief Management. Stenden South Africa and Talking Radio are committed to the supply of training and education for all those personnel who intend being part of this exciting Programme. 

 

 

Talking Radio is proud to be an Affiliate of STC-SA Marine Education Centre based in Cape Town, South Africa, in the supply of two-way radio communications for Offshore operations. This working relationship is geared towards promoting a professional two-way communication standard for all Operators of Aeronautical Radios during helicopter Operations to and from an Offshore Installation.

 

Talking Radio has the good fortune of being an Affiliate of the International House Cape Town (IHCT). Together we are able to supply both General and Aviation English training to students from around the world who are interested in embarking in becoming a career Pilot. In addition to these training products on offer, Talking Radio also provides Aviation English testing at the IHCT offices which has received both the UKCAA as well as EASA accreditation for this purpose. Both IHCT and Talking Radio supply this approved testing through Lenguax as their approved testing facility.

         
Talking Radio works very closely with Lenguax as a testing partner for those candidates wishing to complete their Aviation English Language Proficiency Test. In addition, this working relationship ensures that an approved professional testing system can also be made available to those operators who are wanting to apply the same testing standard for their institute or training organisation.
Talking Radio has satisfactorily met the standards provided by the Accreditation Committee at Quality Assurance in Higher Education, (QAHE) concerning educational quality, institutional integrity and public accountability, through a voluntary, non-governmental review process of quality assurance and institutional development. Full accreditation has been awarded in this instance. Expiry date: 05.01.2026
